Jamie DeRooy

A graduate of the Television Broadcasting program at Algonquin College, Jamie won the Video Editor of the Year award for his graduating class.  After school, Jamie worked on Movie of the Week sets in the art department before moving to GAPC where he is now the senior editor.  He works on a wide range or projects including Documentaries, TV Shows, Museum Exhibits, educational and social initiative videos all the way through the post production workflow from initial ingest to final delivery.  He’s also allowed out of the office from time to time to help out on set in a variety of key roles and manages the Production Services department, prepping all gear going out and returning from shoots.
