THE WHALE FAMILY
Ever feel like you don’t quite “fit in”… like you’re caught between two different worlds? Well that’s Hannah, literally! Wrestled between the earth above ground and the water below, she just wants to blend in at her new “land” school, but that’s a little hard to do when your family is oh-so-whacky, you regularly go on adventures across the seven seas, and you live in a big blue whale named Blue! The Whale Family is an adventure/comedy/fantasy series for 6-11’s.
RU AT RED RIVER
Ru at Red River is about a group of young woodland creatures some of whom live with different visible and invisible disabilities. The series centres around Ru, a shy young raccoon with anxiety, and her friends Suki, Fergus, and Niko. Together the kids play, face new challenges, and navigate the world around them in their own individual ways. (Created by Celeste Koon).
Janinia Fialkowska - Notes in Time (working title)
Join us on this remarkable and continuing story of one of Canada’s, and the world’s, most renowned concert pianists. Janina’s breathtaking talent and unabashed determination saw her break through the traditional and often male-dominated world of classical music. Her journey has all the elements of a riveting story!
At one point Janinia made the decision to give it all up and start studying law when, with a twist of fate, she was noticed by the legendary Arthur Rubenstein, soon becoming his protégé. From then on she once again lived and breathed music, performing throughout the world with many legendary conductors and their orchestras. Yet even with such profound and global success there always lurked in the shadows the battle with the stress and anxiety of preparation and performance.
In the midst of professional triumphs and unexpected romance, Janina came face to face with disaster– a highly aggressive tumour in her left arm. Doctors assumed she would never again grace the concert stage.
But the Montreal-born star refused to abandon hope.

JAMIE DEROOY
SENIOR EDITOR
Jamie puts the “I” in editor, because he always brings his own creativity and something special to every project he works on. When he’s not working tirelessly in the office editing or offering a helping hand, he’s probably refurbishing some furniture or buying presents for his niece!

JOHN JAMES
MOTION DESIGNER, 3D, VFX
With close to 30 years of experience, John has learned to channel his passion for all things creative into exactly what’s needed for each and every project. When not in the office you can catch him at home chopping firewood with a Boston butt gently smoking in the background.

ERIC VANIER
COMPOSER/AUDIO ENGINEER
A graduate from the Audio Recording Academy, Eric has been winning honourable mentions at the International Songwriting Competition since he was 18. When he’s not working his magic on jingles and musical scores, Eric teaches guitar, works as a session musician, and pranks us with the office skeleton prop. Thanks for that, Eric.
